Half a million British Columbia school children will not be heading back to class tomorrow as contract talks broke down between the Provincial Government and the province’s 40,000 teachers.
Teachers have been on strike since mid-June.
This is not the first time a teacher’s strike has happened in BC. In fact, it’s not even the fortieth time. In the last 40 years, BC teachers have hit the picket line 50 times, and they’ve been locked out three times.
